Zacariah 100 pays homage on original debut album, "Dallas Maverick"

Paired with a rich and original production, Zacariah 100 has come out on top in his endeavor to fuse his two loves on Dallas Maverick. Through uplifting lyricism, fresh sounding beats, and a flawless flow from this artist, he’s managed to infuse a ton of different ideas and styles all the while displaying a great amount of talent in the process. If this happens to be your introduction to the artist, we can think of no better way to start than with a spin of this.
Someone needs to get Mark Cuban on the phone, because we can already envision ourselves vibing out to the entirety of Dallas Maverick while sitting at a game in the American Airlines Center. Now as diehard Los Angeles Lakers fans ourselves, we can’t say we definitely root for the Mavs, however we more than appreciate the dedication and homage that has been created here. While the album artwork and some of the songs are certainly geared towards the time, Zacariah 100 still carves out passages of this album to break down his own life and personal experiences. Some of our favorite lyrics from the record were, “One day you're here and the next you're gone, time to wake up" and "You can try to stop me, but I know God got me".
At 7 total songs that span right around the 22 minute mark, Dallas Maverick has truly felt like a bite size piece of genuine and sincere music, with all the passion and emotion flowing from it very early on in the listen. You’ll endure a cohesiveness where generally the tone and mood of the music transfers nicely from track to track, but Zacariah also takes liberties to go off on the deep end to ultimately keep you guessing as to what’s coming next. Hip Hop nowadays feels incredibly recycled in our opinion, but it’s new works like these that invigorate the future and have us more than excited to see his inevitable follow up!
