Yasmine Gill shares dynamic vocal performance on "Feel"

Putting her soulful vocals right at the forefront, we are head over heels with Yasmine Gill’s newest single “Feel”. Do yourselves a huge favor and read on for our full review of the track, as well as a background on this emerging artist.

Part of her 4 song EP coming out later this year, Yasmine Gill has started off extremely strong with a powerhouse song titled “Feel”. Bridging the gap between Blues, Soul, and Acid Jazz, she’s created a vibrant and memorable single that will legitimately have us counting down the days until that record release. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll dig into Yasmine and her music immediately.

After growing up listening to traditional Jazz and Blues, it’s no surprise that Yasmine’s music is as good as it is. Influenced by some of the greats like Lianne La Havas and Snoh Aalegra, she’s undoubtedly bringing a much needed originality into the mix that sets her apart from the pack. Right from the opening notes on “Feel”, she sucks you into this world where everything is grand for a little under four minutes.

Now while of course the instrumental here sets the stylistic tone for it all, we can’t help but specifically point out that Yasmine has a vocal delivery that aims to send shivers down your spine. Seriously, and we’re not overstating, her passion and emotion delivered on this track have created massive fans out of us. It’s not all too often a song like this leaves us with the feeling of being moved, but we felt hopeful for the future and ultimately attribute that to the good vibes she’s given us.

We can’t wait to see how Yasmine Gill plans to top herself on the 3 remaining songs of the EP, but we’re now anxiously waiting to see what will happen. We’re not 100% sure of a release date, but will make sure to update once that time comes. In the meantime, don’t miss out on an emphatic performance from a beyond talented musician.
