Xoe-B's "Two's A Crowd" gets the remix treatment from Jonny Moody

With the help of Jonny Moody on the remix side of things, Xoe-B’s 2021 release of “Two’s A Crowd” has kicked off her 2022 in a big way. While of course we recommend doing a back to back listen of the original and the newest for the ultimate comparison, we’ll make it incredibly clear right now that both are simply magnificent in their own ways. Centering around her vibrant vocals and an uplifting vibe throughout, Xoe-B’s got that delivery that not only makes you want to listen a little bit closer, but explore the rest of her discography as well. In the pop genre where it feels like everyone is sort of reworking the same thing, “Two’s A Crowd” expertly breaks the mold and gives a bit of that nostalgic feel for a minimalistic yet highly catchy song on the initial listen. On this remix specifically, the help of Jonny Moody has embedded a slightly dreamier production, as well as some cool effects that are only amplified if you listen on a nice pair of headphones or speakers.
On the background of the track, the artist says it’s a “reflection of a past relationship and learning that it’s okay to need some time alone; if that person doesn’t allow you that time then you know it’s not right”. It’s a tough situation to find yourself in and an even tougher one to acknowledge and try to make better, but once you do, you might as well make some art out of it like this!
While this was our first introduction to Xoe-B’s music, it certainly isn’t going to be our last.
