TØPKNØT shares his best yet on newest single, "Buzzin"
Released officially on March 5th, 2021, TØPKNØT is back with an enlightening new single, titled “Buzzin”. We are loving it! Read along with us as we share our thoughts on the track, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Breaking free from the mold of mainstream pop, TØPKNØT is the project of Tim Cofield. Drawing inspiration from the greats, such as David Bowie, Tame Impala, and more, this artist is a multifaceted performer who is crafting truly breathtaking and awe-inspiring music regularly. Representing the Tennessee music scene as of late, TØPKNØT is bringing a sensibility to music that hasn’t been captured in a while.
On “Buzzin” specifically, this is without a doubt going to be the breakout single from this artist. It’s a culmination of everything that’s right within alternative music, and with that being said, we’re confident that his infectious hooks and warm vocals are going to resonate quite well with all the music lovers.
Seeing as though the artist’s discography is all a bit on the lighter side, that becomes a plus for the reader, because there’s not a huge catalogue to catch up on. Honestly, now’s the time to hop in on the TØPKNØT bandwagon. Not that it would ever be too late to join his fandom, but we are really are quite confident that with the right ears, the sky's the limit for this artist. You can only imagine the amount of music that gets sent to us on a daily basis, so when actual gold like this crosses our paths, it’s always best to appreciate knowing that you were putting the good word out there before they eventually blow up.
“Buzzin” for us was a masterpiece of production, filled with lush soundscapes, and an inviting vocal delivery that we didn’t want to end. Everything about the listen overall was warm and inviting, like if music could wrap you up in its arms giving a big hug, this would be it. It’s got us incredibly excited to see where the artist is going to take his sound in the coming months and years. Anything based off the feel of this would be welcomed with open arms, however artists are always experimenting in wild ways. Whatever he comes up with, we’ll be listening to without a doubt.
Considering this track is officially released on a Friday, we can think of no better way to get the weekend started than with multiple listens of “Buzzin”. Pop on your best headphones, crank it up loud, and let the music flow and soothe your body. Enjoy!
