Thomas King turns it up on summer jam, "PARTY IN L.A."

Perfect for the summertime and hot weather, Thomas King continues his roll of catchy singles with a new one, “PARTY IN L.A.”. Read on with us as we share our complete thoughts on the track, as well as an insight into the artist.

Born and raised in Columbus, Georgia, Thomas King has always had the love of music flowing through him. Instantly falling in love with singing and dancing led him to be part of a trio called South Town Rebels in which he was the lead vocalist. Though they broke up in 2001, that didn’t stop Thomas from continuing on and creating greatness on his solo path. Since then, he’s released a handful of catchy singles, including “PARTY IN L.A.”.

Kicking off a different part of his career in the Spring of 2020, Thomas King shared his first EP NEVER TOO LATE and since then things have only gotten better. Considering we’re currently based out of Los Angeles, it’s always a trip to hear tracks like this that are literally going to soundtrack our lives. We got about 30 seconds into this newest output before we began vibing with it. Speaking directly on the production, the resounding synth and keyboard addition that soundtrack a majority of the song are too good to not get addicted to.

At just a little over three total minutes in run time, Thomas King has impressed us to the point that we’ll definitely be digging into his past discography to audibly hear the evolution in his sound. Seeing as though he’s been involved in music for such a significant part of his life, our hope is that the best is still yet to come. Straight up, “PARTY IN L.A.” is a vibe and should be listened to as soon as you can. It’s virtually guaranteed to get you moving, put a smile on your face, and get you interested in everything else Thomas is making these days.

With so many single releases coming from him in the past year and a half, it’s become our mission to find the gold. No matter what city you happen to be in, we feel that partying in LA is more of a state of mind than an actual destination, so pop it on, and get grooving.
