The Polpettas share their upbeat and fun single, "Il Mondo"
Released just last week on February 26th, 2021, The Polpettas have come racing back with an awesome new single, “Il Mondo”. Read along with us for our full featured review, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Currently based out of Venice, Italy, The Polpettas are blending an alternative, post punk, and indie rock sound into an energetic and signature style. Imparting their own sense of “Italian madness”, they’re taking classic Italian songs and creating fantastic new versions for all to enjoy! “Il Mondo” is their newest single release and we’re totally loving it.
With only a few songs under their name so far, they’ve quickly crafted their own unique brand and style that’s sure to put a huge smile on your face. What we loved the most about “Il Mondo” was how you could physically tell that the band was having a fun time creating it. While it only came in at about two minutes in overall run time, that’s really all the time that was needed to create this memorable song.
As they mentioned, they’re putting their own sense of “Italian madness” into their own music. Loving the country of Italy so much, not only is it an honor to review a band from there, but we also hope to one day witness them perform all of their music in person. Things appear to be heading in the right direction as far as health goes, so we hope it’s only a matter of time until we can buy tickets to see The Polpettas.
Seeing as though this is only their third official song release, we have to confidently say that they’re on the right track with each subsequent single. It should go without saying at this point, but we’ve absolutely loved this, and highly recommend you all give it a listen. While you’re at it, you might as well check out the other two which are equally high energy and danceable.
All in all though, The Polpettas are for real. They’re making the music they want to hear and having a great time while they’re at it. “Il Mondo” is an absolute hit and we sincerely can’t wait to keep playing it over and over. For now, give it a spin, and enjoy!
