The Losers Club preview high-powered single, "Freak Like Me" - Interview
With an all new single titled “Freak Like Me” set for release on November 19th, we got the opportunity to sit and speak with Cass Braido of The Losers Club to hear all about the background of the track and so much more. Watch our full interview below!
Made up of Cass Braido (guitar/vocals), Tristin Pounders (bass/vocals), Cade Ralston (drums), this power trio are serving a seriously compelling mix of pop-punk and alternative rock. Currently based out of Denver, Colorado, The Losers Club are a pandemic born band of talented musicians that have put their love for punk into a fantastic set of originals, but with “Freak Like Me” on the way, it was an absolute treat to get to hear the finer details.
While the single isn’t set for its official release until 11/19, you can certainly familiarize yourself with all their other jams in the meantime. For now though, let us tell you just how much we enjoyed every second of “Freak Like Me”. To start, there’s a certain pureness and nostalgic feeling that washed over us while listening. It’s taking the best part of that older grungier feeling and expertly mixing in the modern for something that instantly clicked. All members of the band so clearly put their all into it and the passion came through seamlessly.
Of course getting to hear from Cass himself was a blast as well. The priority of this all is to really dig into their music and get a taste of what’s to come, however learning about the band, how they all came together, and some personal Cass-related details was a great bonus too.
With all that being said though, The Losers Club are about as legit as it comes and we hope to catch them at a show sometime in 2022. We can only imagine that the live show translates well given the high-powered nature of their music overall. From the sounds of it, it looks like big things are on the way for the band, so we highly recommend keeping tabs on what they’re up to in the future. Once again, you can listen, follow along, and stay tuned for everything on the way by checking out the important links below. Enjoy!
