Fresh off the release of his first single in 2022, we got the special opportunity to speak with Justin Beaver of The JB Project about “Hole For The Sun”. Check out our full interview below!
Showing off his immense skills on “Hole For The Sun”, The JB Project is the musical endeavor of Justin Beaver who has overtly proved himself to be an extremely talented multi-instrumentalist, producer, and so much more. With the release of this newest song that is truly perplexing in the best way possible, it was such an honor to get to sit and speak with the mastermind behind the music. As much as we want you to give it a listen, we can’t wait for you to check out our chat too.
On the background of the track, “‘Hole For The Sun’ is about traveling through the ups and downs in our lives, in all of their colours, feelings and emotions”. We truly feel that the sound, atmosphere, and ultimately the instrumentation fully embodied what this song was about. That’s not to mention Justin’s vocals that added quite a bit of essence to the mix, but really the entire package of it all over delivered in the nicest way possible. As this was our introduction to The JB Project, we can confidently claim that we won’t stop our journey into the rest of his music.
Now while we did discuss many things during our conversation, it’s always such an interesting experience getting to talk to someone who’s proficient on so many instruments. All too often we get the feeling of wanting to express ourselves in a way that only a certain guitar or bass tone could achieve, so it’s truly wild to know that through experimentation he can make that happen. This discussion was purely a masterclass in how to nail creating your own music. Everyone should legitimately be inspired!
With all that being said though, now’s about the time we’re going to point you in the direction of those important links below where you can listen, follow along, and stay tuned for everything else The JB Project has on the way. Enjoy!
