The Clockworks continue to make waves with new single and documentary

Review by Austin Sher

While having an extremely successful 2020, and even more promising 2021, The Clockworks are on a roll with their freshly released singles and a new documentary (filmed by Oscar J Ryan). Read along with us as we break down the trajectory of these emerging alternative rockers.

Currently making waves within the UK music scene and garnering international attention, The Clockworks’ “strong and punchy dynamics” are coming to light as the post-punk influenced band continues to see success with release after release. Having already been featured on SiriusXM and BBC 6, as well as huge live performances at Eurosonic, Electronic Picnic and opening for Kings of Leon, this band is well on their way to stardom.

Their most recently released single, “Enough Is Never Enough” was a complete rocker, to say the least. Now with their new documentary that highlights everything you’d need to know about the band, it’s honestly never been clearer that they’re the next big thing in punk rock. Having just been signed to Alan McGee’s new record label ‘Creation23’ immediately after their move to London, the foursome are gearing up for a massive year in music.

Now while we’d much prefer for you to take the time to watch the documentary, considering it’s only about 15 minutes in length, we’ll also make it unbelievably crystal clear right now that we’re fans and are highly recommending you take the time to explore their ever expanding discography. While we’re not quite at liberty to say their upcoming plans for this year, it’s looking to be a big one. We can only assume more powerful tunes are on their way, so stay tuned.

Having listened to everything they’ve put out thus far, they’re quickly becoming masters at blending the old with the new. Being fans of classic punk ourselves and appreciating all of the new wave that’s hitting the surface, we’re confident that there’s more originality that’s going to see the light of day.

Lastly, just like you all, we’re making it a point to keep up with all that’s set for release this year. With that being said, we’ve made sure to include all the relevant streaming links, social media links, and of course the link where you can watch their informative documentary. For now, we hope you enjoy!
