The Bigger Picture tear through their latest track, "Empires"
On their third overall single titled “Empires”, The Bigger Picture are honing in on a sound that we’ve completely fallen in love with. Please read on for our in-depth analysis into the track, in addition to a background on this emerging band.
Currently based out of London, The Bigger Picture are an alternative rock band that have infused a ton of outside elements and flair into their eclectic sound. With an all new single (and video) for their single “Empires”, they’ve shown us exactly what they’re capable of, and that is absolute greatness. Reaching unimaginable highs in every facet of the song, we sincerely can’t wait for everyone out there to get their ears on this.
Expertly blending together bits of rock, electronic, and other surprise tones into a vast style, everything about our initial listen of “Empires” was incredibly positive. Kicking things off with slightly ominous tones, then immediately blasting the listener in the face with a wall of sound and instrumentation, The Bigger Picture have not held back in volume. In a genre that is full of so much of the same sounds, they’re daring to create a niche for themselves that works in wondrous ways.
Lyrically speaking, the themes covered here are deep, in the sense that it speaks about “the feeling and struggle of dealing with loss and regret”. The immense amount of emotion displayed in the sound of the song perfectly resonates in its messages. Even better, the band came together to create a stunningly vibrant music video directed by upcoming production company, Bohemian Bastards that eloquently shows off the strengths of the song. We’ve linked it below and highly recommend you give it a listen.
For the band to only have released three songs in total, we’re beyond impressed to their output thus far. This is 100% a group to keep an eye on in 2022, we know we will be! Get your days started with a loud listen of “Empires”, which you can do by checking out the important links below. Don’t forget to follow either, they’ve got big things on the way.
