Skar de Line impresses on mesmerizing single & video for "A Way"

Just released on March 16th, with its music video officially dropping on the 23rd, Skar de Line has put together something sensational and special feeling with “A Way”. Mesmerizing in its varied instrumentation and silky smooth on the vocals end as always, we’re not surprised in the slightest that this complex song has as much depth and passion to it as ever. On the off chance you happen to be unfamiliar with his discography, there’s no doubt in our minds that this is a great introduction if you’re looking to explore a little bit more.
Serving as the “fourth chapter in Skar de Line’s autobiographical suite of music”, here’s an artist who consistently writes from the heart and shares his personal and serious experiences with the world. In this scenario, “A Way” was inspired by a moment where he “witnessed a suicide attempt in which he intervened and saved a man from the ledge”. In most cases, we feel many wouldn’t be brave enough to get involved, or potentially freeze up, but he stepped up to the occasion and became a hero. It was obviously a song worth writing and memorializing, so we sincerely hope that all who listen continue to connect the dots. However, once the music video releases, it does a great job of building up the tension in a wonderfully artistic way.
On the other hand, Skar de Line honestly outdid himself in terms of the production end as mentioned. Hypnotizing is one way to put it, but the grand atmospheric feel and pulsating synthesizers to tie it all together kept our ears perked up from start to finish. There’s a clean and crispy feel that “A Way” holds, but ultimately it’s all tied together with the cadence and serious tone of his vocals as well. This is about as well rounded as it gets when it comes to an electronic-esque track and perfectly shows off the versatility and range of an established artist. We’re thrilled for everyone to take the time and listen.
