Nightly Gatherings expands his sound on massive single, "Time With U 2022"
Capitalizing off the success of his debut album released in 2021, Nightly Gatherings has delivered an extremely worthy follow up called “Time With U 2022”. Read on for our glowing review of this new track.
Nightly Gatherings’ debut record Tethered Together was truly something else, but now the artist has gone above and beyond with this killer new single called “Time With U 2022”. Pumping up the production and energy levels even more, the artist claims that this project is “truly a love letter to my favorite genres” and that this project has a little bit of something for everyone. We could not possibly agree more, and with that, let us overwhelmingly recommend a listen as soon as possible.
Inspired by the current greats like ODESZA, Bon Iver, and Porter Robinson, Nightly Gatherings has been transforming and executing his sound over the past seven years. Although he’s been producing music for that long, he only began singing and writing his own work in 2021. The strides in originality are truly massive and the expansiveness that has been created so far is actually out of this world. We loved his debut album in our review of it, but this new song has taken him to greater heights.
At just around three minutes, we instantly felt after listening that this song could have easily been extended another minute or two. It could have been that we didn’t want it to end, but the immersiveness of it all really sucked in and made us want to live in this little atmospheric world of pulsating sound and rhythms. There really are so many inspirations that come through on this track, and although it’s electronic based, you can really feel the spectrum of music come through in the influence. Plain and simple, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it and we think you all will too!
