Elijah Mann shares his slow burning single, "Clementine"

Adding on to his already impressive discography, Elijah Mann has a new slow burning single out titled “Clementine”. Please read on for our full in-depth review of the track, as well as a background on this artist.

Classifying himself as an electro-folk singer and songwriter, this Brooklyn-based musician has truly something special on his hands with the fresh release of “Clementine”. Starting slow and building up to something beautiful in the climax of the song, he immediately piqued our attention within mere moments of clicking the play button. Sincerely, we loved this song so much, and we really think everyone out there is going to feel the same once they dive in.

Just released on February 11th, 2022, “Clementine” is a song with intricate layers to peel through. We suggest you check out the single artwork for that joke to make sense. Anyway, with the help of returning producer Adam Tilzer (Keith Richards, Beck), the two collaborators have created that elusive wall of sound effect that ultimately has you laser focused on the message and instrumentation of it all. While the song feels sensual at times, its breadth in sound also has those arena like qualities too.

Considering Elijah’s output over the recent years has been so strong and consistent, we had no choice but to dig in ourselves to really give a solid comparison on what he’s made and how it’s changed. In our opinion, we’re completely loving the maturity in his sound that has shown up over the years, but also that it’s mixed with a sheer confidence in the vocals. Honestly, the vocals are what makes his music so enjoyable for us even taking away the fancy effects. He’s got an originality about him in the way that he tells stories, we just love it.

All that being said though, “Clementine” is a certified hit and something we know for a total fact we’ll be listening to for quite some time. Do yourselves a huge favor and please check out the links below in order to get listening, follow along, and stay tuned for everything else on the way in 2022.
