Nigel Brown celebrates 10th album release with stellar "Something Good Will Come"

Seeing its official release on February 21st, 2022, we got the special opportunity to preview Nigel Brown’s record Something Good WIll Come. It is fantastic! Please read on for our full review of the album, as well as a background on this artist.

Spanning decades of sound and touching on multiple genres like Rock, Folk, and Blues, Nigel Brown has done a completely excellent job arranging his album, Something Good Will Come. Even better, this is actually his 10th released full length album which is a massive milestone and success by any standard. Celebrate with us and get ready to give this one a spin the moment it sees a release.

While of course we don’t want to spoil too much before the big day, there are some definite highlights we feel compelled to share. Coming in at 11 total tracks, Nigel’s strong suit is creating a sense of optimism which we feel directly comes from his vocal delivery and ability. You can take the message away from what the songs are about, but he still leaves you somehow feeling positive for the future. Specific tracks like the opener “Won’t Be Your Love” and “I Won’t Believe It” were prime examples of that in our opinion.

So much of what we enjoyed about this record was the light and breezy feeling it evokes as well. Nigel even says that the vocals are inspired by the Laurel Canyon days and we can’t help but feel the same. Some of the songs are like an even mix of Tom Petty and an almost Beatles-like energy to them, but of course he’s managed to infuse so much of himself and his personality to the arrangements too. There’s a cohesion while you’re listening and the track listing for us was quite important. Something Good Will Come was meant to be listened to untouched from start to finish, you really get that full album experience that we feel is missing from music these days.

With it coming out on February 21st, 2022, you’ve got a few days to familiarize yourselves with the rest of his music! We’ve done you a favor and included all the important links below in order to listen, follow along, and stay tuned for everything else on the way. Enjoy it!
