Mister Lees impresses again with release of second single, "Paradise (Live Lockdown Version)"

Releasing on July 31st, 2020, Mister Lees is set to debut his second single, titled “Paradise (Live Lockdown Version). Read along with us as we provide you a review of the latest track, as well as a bit of background on the artist himself.
Currently based out of London, Mister Lees is a recording artist and music producer who has so far struck gold with releases. His most recent single, “LDN” is definitely a different type of sound that you’ll be hearing on this newest song, but still as catchy as ever and absolutely worth the listen. So far in Mister Lees’ career, he’s built everything he had within his home studio and is trying to get out onto the stages for performances as often as possible. In addition to his blooming music career, he just successfully completed a Degree in Music Production at ICMP in London and he now looks to pioneer the resurrection of 90’s music in the mainstream UK music scene.
According to Mister Lees on the background of “Paradise”, “it takes us back to the days when we’d sit in the park and listen to those colourful pop ballads of the 90’s”. Just based on our first impression of listening to the song, we feel that the overall atmosphere and feeling of the song translated extremely well into what he was trying to convey. He also let us know that the song gives the listener a glimpse into one of the toughest decisions he ever had to make, that being leaving his hometown and everything he knew in order to find what he considers “Paradise”.
While we obviously look forward to a professionally recorded version of “Paradise”, the reason that it’s titled as the “Live Lockdown Version” is due to our current situation in the world. As fantastic as the live version was, we’ve got our hearts set on an updated version when the time is right and all can come together to do it correctly.
As much as we loved “LDN”, this new track was something special based on our many listens through. The soft acoustic opening was music to our ears, and as soon as the vocals entered the mix, we were sold! Mister Lees’ voice is as smooth as butter, all the while fitting in so nicely to the overall groove and feel to the song. If he was specifically going for a 90’s pop ballad vibe, he 100% nailed it through and through.
While we don’t want to give too much information, we do have to say that we were overly impressed by the first 2 singles that Mister Lees has put out, and even more excited for his full EP, The LDN EP that is set to be released in Autumn 2020. If these first 2 tracks are any inclination into what a full EP would bring, then you could definitely we’re excited to see what comes next.
