Lev Moore pushes through on long awaited LP, "Nineteen Ninety Five"

After a long time in the making, Lev Moore has finally released his debut full length album, Nineteen Ninety Five. It was well worth the wait and we’ve got a full review below to let you know exactly how we felt about it.

Infusing all of his personal passion and emotion into the vocals, Lev Moore’s Nineteen Ninety Five is a sonic journey through endless personal experiences. Having written tracks dating back to when he was 15, he’s taken those skills and put his songwriting chops on display to create something that transcends sound and implements an over the top and perplexing production. This record gripped us from the very beginning and we can’t wait for everyone out there to give it a spin as soon as possible.

With an aim to keep the listener “empowered and entertained” through the listen, we confidently feel that Lev has done exactly that while leading with his voice. We found the instrumentation to be a tad subdued, however we think that was most likely a stylistic decision in order to keep the lyricism right at the forefront of things. Additionally, while this record took him quite some time as he dealt with certain difficulties, we sincerely hope that it’s not the last thing we hear from him in the long run. As a songwriter, he’s gripping with his words and so eloquently states them in a way that piques the listener’s interest.

At 11 total tracks, spanning right around 38 minutes in length, the album hits the sweet spot of not overstaying its welcome and becoming a perfect record to pop on at a moment’s notice. With so much music these days clocking in at an hour or more, it’s digestible record’s like these that we know we’ll be coming back to experience the good times. With that being said, we’ve got to obviously urge everyone out there to listen, which is why we’ve included the most important links below in order to listen and follow along for more. Don’t miss out!
