KHAO$ & Naafie team up on collaborative new single, "World Is Ours"
Reemerging after a slight musical hiatus, we’re thrilled to announce that KHAO$ is back with a fantastic new track he’s titled “World Is Ours”. Please read on for a closer look at the single, as well as an update on this immensely talented artist.
It’s been quite some time since we reviewed KHAO$, in fact almost two years since “Showtime”, but he’s just made his way back with a new one called “World Is Ours” featuring Naafie. Together, these collaborators have put their best foot forward in creating a lyrically dense song that sets lofty goals yet entices the listener with a killer production and insanely catchy beat. Needless to say, we’re loving it, and can’t wait for you to take a listen.
If you’re out of the loop on KHAO$, which stands for King Has Arrived On Scene, he’s a South Carolina-based Hip Hop artist who’s get plenty more to share with the world. As his newest project “Maybe Sum Friday” prepares for release in July of 2022, he’s given listeners a taste of what’s to come. What we particularly liked about this song goes past how smooth it is, rather that he’s involved his local music scene by bringing on Naafie and using a talented producer named Jarhead. Together they’re knocking down barriers and setting the stage for what modern day Hip Hop music should sound like in our eyes.
While each artist certainly gets their moment to shine on “World Is Ours”, it positively feels like a collaborative effort that doesn’t feel like one is hogging the spotlight. Surely it’s a KHAO$ track through and through as it has that signature touch and feel, but what Naafie brings into the mix is priceless. With a new project on the way that we sincerely hope is a full length album, or even a lengthy EP, “World Is Ours” has served as a perfect preview for what’s to come. There’s no doubt in our minds that there will be surprises along the way, but we’re strapped in and ready for the musical adventure while we wait.
