KITTLING returns with upbeat & vibrant single & video for "Wax"

After a brief two year hiatus, we are absolutely thrilled because KITTLING has made a valiant return with both a single and music video for “Wax”. Do yourselves a favor and read on for a closer look into the song, in addition to a background on this talented artist.

Currently based out of Melbourne, Australia, KITTLING is consistently thinking outside the box when crafting up his unique alternative pop sound. Taking inspirations from many major bands in a similar genre from the past, he’s still managed to create something unbelievably fresh, original, and bursting with sincere passion and personality. While we recommend listening to “Wax”, the music video is quite entertaining, so make sure to click the play button as it’s linked below.

Infusing bits, pieces, and glimmers of so many genres that span from funk, R&B, disco, and beyond, for us our favorite part of KITTLING’s wax were its anthemic capabilities. What we mean by that is that by the end of the song, you’re attempting to sing back the words, and it’s not a wild thought to imagine yourself singing along with this in a sea of thousands. To call this an earworm would be an understatement, because truly it’s all we’ve been hearing since it got sent our way. The artist claims it’s also “silly and sexy”, and now having viewed the video, we can confidently claim that fact is true. He’s downright having a wonderful time and it comes through effortlessly in both the audio and visual.

Not to give too much away in the music video, because of course we’d prefer you watch, but it gives such a great idea of who KITTLING really is as a person. This was our introduction to his music as a whole, but after experiencing his special brand and niche of sound, he’s honestly created lifelong fans out of us. Our personal preference of music is this sort of retro pop sound with all the 70’s inspirations coming through, so here’s to hoping that much more music is on its way in the new year!
