Kendra & the Bunnies debut summer-ready 3rd LP, "of Consideration"
Our wishes have been granted! Kendra & the Bunnies’ third album of Consideration is all set for its official release on May 28th, 2021. Please read on for our full and in-depth look at the record, as well as a refresher on this talented band.
Following up the teaser track “So Hollywood” that was shared about a month ago, we were patiently waiting for the album announcement, but thankfully Kendra & the Bunnies have delivered. To begin, of Consideration could not have been shared at a more perfect time of year. The weather is heating up, people are getting outside, and we know for the absolute fact that we’ll have this blasting for the next few months.
At 15 total tracks, there’s truly a moment on here for all sorts of music lovers across the spectrum. The purists of rock and roll, country fans, and even the enjoyers of soul are going to eat this record up. Kendra and her talented band have successfully engineered an album here that not only hits hard lyrically, but instrumentally feels like an overly needed breath of fresh air as far as repetitiveness in music goes.
A legitimate problem that we have with albums these days is the feeling of each song being crafted to sound like a single and not like an immersive listening experience. From start to finish on of Consideration, Kendra takes the listeners through a cohesive journey that begins strong on “Summer Mag” and doesn’t let up until the final moments on “Be On Key”. It would be tough to recommend a single song to get you into the record, which is why we’ll just tell you to start at the beginning and hit play. Let the music flow through you and strap in for a fantastic time.
We have a pretty strong feeling here that once you complete your first listen, you’re definitely going to want to check out the back catalog as well. It’s pretty cool to hear the evolution of sound in a band like this that has further refined their production techniques and capabilities as musicians. Not to knock their past works at all, as they’re all great, but this may just be the best release yet.
With all that being said though, we won’t spoil too much more, which means it’s just about that time you dig into the record. Crank it up loud and make sure to follow along for Kendra & the Bunnies’ future tunes by checking out the necessary links below. Enjoy!
