Kayana collaborates on a Caribbean-themed single, "Paradise"

Coming together for a powerful collaboration, Kayana has led the charge on a new summer-inspired single titled “Paradise”. Read on for our full review of the track, as well as a much needed background on this artist.

Currently based out of New York, Kayana is a singer and songwriter who coincidentally wrote this during the winter months dreaming of warmer times. The song is called “Paradise” and features vocalist Jamaican vocalist G.K. Williams and Keishaun Julien who assisted on the steelpan. As collaborators on the track, they’ve all brought different and striking elements into the mix that exhibit the best times of summer, euphoric highs in the vocals, but generally a complete and feel good track that we can’t help but overly recommend.

Recorded at Goldheart Studios, Kayana and company have managed to blur the lines between straightforward Pop and glimmers of Caribbean-infused styles and essence. By blending so many genres together though, ultimately they’ve compiled something new and unique that immediately catches the listeners’ interest and ears. To be completely honest, it’s not difficult to envision yourself with a fruity drink on the beach or dancing the night away to the sounds of “Paradise”. No matter where you are in the world and no matter the temperatures you’re experiencing, this is a slice of heaven that can be enjoyed year round. Just like it did for Kayana when she wrote it, it was a futuristic vision of what she wanted, so we’re obviously thrilled that the song is alive and released for all to enjoy.

Previously we were unfamiliar with the collaborators on this song, but that’s the beauty of listening to music that exposes you to talented minds all over the globe. Kayana has already solidified herself as a multi talented artist, but we truly can’t wait to explore the rest of G.K. and Keishaun’s work too. One of the major standouts of this song was the Caribbean infusion which we don’t think gets near enough love as it should. However in the meantime while we patiently wait for more, please check out the links below to listen, follow along, and to stay tuned for more on the way!
