Jessye DeSilva opens up on heartfelt single, "Siren Song"

Delivering a much needed piece of beauty in 2022, Jessye DeSilva’s newest single “Siren Song” is nothing but greatness. Feel good with our full review below, in addition to a background on this artist.

Released with a wonderful music video that you can watch by clicking here, the entire rollout of Jessye DeSilva’s “Siren Song” has been immaculate. The music itself speaks volumes as to the talents of the artist, but they’ve managed to create some of our favorite Folk Rock we’ve heard in quite some time. If this happens to be your introduction to this musician, we can think of no better starting point than here.

On the background of the track, Jessye details the always difficult experience of “maneuvering through the push and pull of anxiety and depression”. While the subject matter is clearly heavy and personal, they’ve still completed the difficult task of countering the message with an upbeat and vibrant instrumentation. Even if you weren’t trying to make connections within the lyricism, there’s still a great chance that you’d be vibing along to the aura and presentation that “Siren Song” provides.

With a new album titled Landscapes on the way sometime in 2022, this has served as the ideal hype up for what’s undoubtedly going to be a majestic listen. Jessye has this positivity radiating in the vocals. It’s something that can’t be taught and honestly it’s the reason we’ll be coming back once the record sees the light of day. We can only imagine the other gems that are just waiting to be shared into the world. Here’s to hoping more singles get released prior to the big day.

All that being said though, we’re super excited for everyone out there to give Jessye’s newest musical offering a proper listen. We’ve done the hard part and included the most important links below so that you can listen, follow along, and stay up to date with all the huge things that are yet to be announced.
