George Bozigian details his life's work on debut album, "Beginnings" - Interview

Released last year, but still just as fantastic today, we got the opportunity to sit and speak for a full interview with George Bozigian to discuss his record, Beginnings. Please check it out below.

For those out of the loop, George Bozigian is a Detroit, Michigan based musician and multi-instrumentalist that finally took the time to culminate years of work into one superb debut album, Beginnings. Ranging in a wide variety of genres that span from Country to Rock to Americana and beyond, it was an absolute pleasure to hear the origin story of how this all came to be, George’s lifelong background in music, and even get a glimpse of what’s to come in the very near future. Without a doubt, we are highly recommending everyone both listen and watch our discussion.

On the creation of his music, George claims, “When I compose music, I write from the heart! I always put myself right in the song and think of how I would feel, act and respond to what is happening. My songs are about my life experiences or come from what I see happening around the world. I am just an average human who loves to share what I and others around me are feeling with music". With that being said, he’s certainly gone above and beyond in creating a narrative within his music lyrically, in which we spoke a great deal about the individual meaning of these tracks. While there isn’t quite an overarching message, what does matter are these little glimmers of his illustrious life that he’s actively chosen to share with the world. Of course the best part is that his words are soundtracked to some of the most vibrant instrumentals we’ve heard this year.

Speaking of, George has composed this record in a way that we simply haven’t seen ever. The album itself is technically 17 tracks, but after each vocal infused song comes a pure instrumental of what you just heard. With the help of Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound Studios and additional team members to put the finishing touches on, these songs pop in a way that are completely memorable for the future. You get immersed immediately through “Dusty Road”, but we promise it’s only up from there as he continues to bend genres, hit euphoric vocal highs, and really create something that stands alone.

With so much more coming this year and next, we’re urging everyone out there to give this a listen right now! Go ahead and check out the links below to listen, follow along, and stay tuned for all additional news.
