Electric High release high voltage single, "Fire!"

Continuing on an incredibly busy year of releases, Electric High are back at it with a high energy and emphatic new single, “Fire!”. We are loving this one! Read on with us as we break down our complete thoughts on the track, in addition to a background on the band.

Currently based out of Bergen, Norway, Electric High are crafting up a unique blend of rock and roll music that very clearly has a heavy dose of signature sound on it. Taking influences from legends like Black Sabbath, Wolfmother, & Aerosmith, there’s a heaping amount of originality and homage that is being paid as well. Without a doubt, this is a classic piece of rock that we are overwhelmingly proud to be reviewing.

Electric High is almost a supergroup considering their members are also part of bands like Sahg, Faith Circus, and Emmerhoff & The Melancholy Babies. Made up of PV Staff (vocals), Olav Iversen (vocals), Marius Mørch (guitar), Einride Torvik (bass), and Tor Bjarne Bjelland (drums), each individual musician is bringing something incredibly unique to the mix. With so much collective experience between all of them, it’s no surprise that their music is consistently amazing.

As for “Fire!”, well we’ll be honest as this was our first introduction to the music of Electric High, but they’ve managed to turn us into huge fans in just one single. With the band being fronted by two lead singers, there isn’t a single dull moment in the entirety of their catalogue, but especially on this newest track. As soon as our first listen finished, we couldn’t help but instantly imagine ourselves rocking out to this in a massive arena with thousands of fans. There was something perfectly electrifying about it all, but the fact that the energy didn’t let up for even a second was the true selling point.

We obviously don’t want to give too much away here as we’d love for you to listen, which is why we’ve made it super easy to do so. We know for a fact we’ll be following along with everything that this band releases in the near future, but the first step for you is to get listening to “Fire!” as soon as you can.
