Starting 2022 off strong as ever with a killer new EP titled Leo, C’Marie has put her best foot forward on a record we are loving! Read on for our full analysis, in addition to a background on this emerging artist.

Chicago-born and Los Angeles-based, C’Marie is singer, songwriter, and dancer who seamlessly blended together an infusion of energetic pop that highlights her dynamic vocals. The title of her EP is called Leo and it’s 3 unbelievably solid songs that will have you in your feels, dancing along, and energetic all at the same time. Needless to say, we’re incredibly excited for all the ears to get on this one.

Having always been involved in entertainment in some facet or another, C’Marie has found her lane in pop music that we wouldn’t want to see shift at all. Having an impressive 2021 was no surprise, but capitalizing off of 2022 is surely going to be on the horizon. Her ideas and aim are certainly fresh on Leo, and even on just three songs, she’s proved to us that the creativity is limitless and the songwriting pushes boundaries geared towards her personal life experiences.

Says C’Marie, “There’s nothing else I’d rather be doing than making music. This is what I love to do, and it’s what I need to do.” There’s nothing like a little bit of confidence to help fuel that creative streak and spark. While it would be difficult to pick out a favorite song of the 3, our real recommendation would be to just hop into the EP in full. Kicking things right off with the explosive “Get To Know Me” is all you’ll really need to hear to keep the record flowing. You can fully expect her vocals to keep your interest piqued, but that production and non-stop genre mixing are what will keep you coming back for more for years to come.
