Chris Considine continues his roll of singles with latest, "Force of Nature"
Staying incredibly busy in 2022 with a full length record and multiple singles under his belt, Chris Considine is back at it with a power pop bop titled “Force of Nature”. Please read on for a closer look at the track, in addition to a background on the artist.
Led by clever vocal rhythms, an upbeat instrumentation, and Chris Considine’s signature glow, the artist’s newest single “Force of Nature” is a hit right off the bat. While the meaning behind it all is quite deep and personal, Chris has still managed to infuse optimism on this brightly constructed single. If for some reason this happens to be your introduction to this artist’s music, there’s no better place to start than by listening to this.
As the sole member of this project and even taking the helm by playing all the instruments you’re about to hear, it’s still got that big band feeling to it all. If anything, that just makes it more impressive, but it also goes to show the immense skills that Chris has brought to the table. As mentioned, there’s a real positivity that he’s brought in the song’s composition, but he hasn’t lacked at all whatsoever on the lyrical end. So he says on the background of the track, “Anxiety was the inspiration for this track. The illogical dread that some experience trumps reason more often than not. This song is a reminder to think positively and not let those thoughts control you.”
Tying things together with relatability, this is a piece of indie pop that actually stands out from the rest. It’s not that music nowadays is uninspired or anything, but the sincerity that comes through in Chris’ vocal delivery immediately lets you know that it’s coming from a personal place. Proudly backed up by an almost mid-2000’s-esque Strokesy instrumentation, it’s really got all of the elements inside the song that we look for and want at the end of the day. With all the music that Chris has already released so far this year, it’s a complete fact that the quality hasn’t dipped even a bit.
