With the full weight and passion behind every moment on “Bright Light Shine”, Brandon G has legitimately held nothing back while crafting this song together. Set to an inspiring instrumentation, his “Pop Rock energy” energy is certainly at the forefront here. Considering this was our first introduction to his music as a whole, the collective term we can coin his music to be was astounding. Needless to say, we’re highly recommending a listen as soon as possible.
Centered around Brandon’s journey of meeting his husband, the context and message of “Bright Light Shine” is almost like a rollercoaster of emotions. He states it was “challenging at times”, but sometimes the best relationships are. Truly, he’s put it all out on the line for the world to take a peek into his personal situation, but in the process, has delivered something with an outstanding amount of emotion tied to it as well. The reverberated message of life being fleeting effortlessly comes through in multitudes on the listen.
As it appears that this is his just his first single of 2022, the new hope and wondering is if there will be more. Brandon certainly deserves to ride the high of the impending success, however we find ourselves patiently waiting for the follow up. It’s almost as if you get sucked into someone’s life through learning about them through the message; we really just want to make sure that is all good since putting together the track.
In the meantime though, you can fully expect to be blown away by “Bright Light Shine”. Feelings of empowerment and optimism will surely flow through the listener, but a ton of positivity isn’t far behind either.
