10-19 & The Number Men craft an eclectic new single, "RADAR"
Touching on multiple genres on their spacey new single, “RADAR”, 10-19 & The Number Men have done it once again! Please read on for our positive review of the track, in addition to a background on these talented artists.
Currently representing the San Diego music scene, 10-19 & The Number Men are a psychedelic band that truly knows no boundaries when it comes to formulating their exotic sound and style. Pulling and infusing influence from Post-Punk, Jazz, House, Rock, and so much more, their latest delivery “RADAR” is a fuzzed out track worthy of multiple listens. We instantly loved it and confidently feel everyone out there is going to feel the exact same way.
Thriving through quarantine and staying immensely consistent in their releases, 10-19 & The Number Men are made up of frontman 10-19, Joel Kynan (Sweet Valley), Brian Scafidi (D/Wolves), and Sean Burdeaux (Paper Forest). While it feels like so much of their music comes directly from the insane production at times, you never really know what you’re going to get when you dive in. On this release specifically though, there’s two versions that were delivered. The original and a remix from Magic Point that gives it so much more energy. We highly recommend you check out both to see which is your favorite.
With the band making their way around Southern California playing show after show, it’s become a new goal for our 2022 to witness it ourselves. Given their eclectic sound, we can only imagine the energy they’d deliver in a live setting. Additionally, there’s so many different sounds coming on just this two minute track, it’ll be a real trip to see how they pull it off in person.
Whether you’re discovering their music for the first time or you’ve been a consistent follower, consider yourself lucky to have let this music into your life. This was our first introduction, but it so perfectly caters to our style that we’ll undoubtedly be following along for anything that’s set for release.
