Blonde Maze uplifts and inspires on wonderful new EP, "Another Color"
The perfect blend of calm, relaxing, and inspired art, Blonde Maze has sincerely outdone herself on her latest EP, Another Color. Keep reading as we take a much closer look into the record, as well as a background on the artist.
From the genius mind of Amanda Steckler comes her solo project that has consistently been on the rise called Blonde Maze. As a multi-faceted artist who’s effortlessly combining emotions, nostalgia, and of course a whole lot of love and passion, her newest work is an outrageously complex EP titled Another Color. Mixing serene vocal patterns with thoughtful production tactics and a wonderful feeling of tranquility, we’re overjoyed that we get to recommend this album for the world to listen to.
Clocking in at just a little over 20 minutes, featuring 7 original songs, Blonde Maze has gone above and beyond in creating a cohesive feel that has these tracks seamlessly running together. Although there’s plenty of moments in all of them that stand out and deviate from one another, the specific tone she’s achieved and the mood evoked is the same from start to finish. Immediately though our initial listen, this record resonated with us on a deeper level as it feels like so much actual human life and experience went into its creation. Featuring a single collaboration with Alex Baker on one of our favorite songs “I Remember”, ultimately this is still a singular vision completed by Amanda in which she’s struck gold. She claims that Another Color serves to deliver “passion-filled music for the mind, body, and soul” and we can confidently confirm it's done just that and more.
Pulling inspiration and influence from the world and elements around her, there’s also a serious feeling with the connection to Earth given the density of the soundscapes created. It’s no wonder her fanbase and popularity continues to grow and we think that can be attributed to the non-manufactured feel these songs give off. Their natural ability to not only be catchy but have deeper meaning lyrically is always a tough balance, yet specifics like “Daydream” and “Forever Sun” fully fit that mold. We’ve got a million positive things to say about this, which is again why we’re urging everyone out there to click the play button.
Please go ahead and listen, follow along, and of course stay tuned for all major releases and information below.
