Ari Raine excels on emotion-filled debut EP, "Just To See Me Fall"

Currently representing the music scene in Atlanta, Ari Raine is a singer and songwriter who’s just crafted an outstanding EP called Just To See Me Fall. Incorporating many elements of sound and style, ultimately it’s a record that embodies the feeling of Pop and R&B, but in a way that sincerely feels fresh and organic. Utilizing a silky smooth production, Ari has led the way with her unique vocal delivery, absolutely nailing every facet of her first major effort. We’re overwhelmingly recommending everyone out there give this a spin as soon as possible.
Through five total tracks, she’s somehow blurred the lines between the nostalgia of the early 2000’s with a heavy dose of modernity infused into it all. Capitalizing off of a raw and honest feel within her music overall, she’s truly opened up herself as not only an artist, but a person for all listeners to explore her through deep themes covered. Using these songs as an outlet to process emotions, the goal for Ari is to allow anyone who enjoys this to do the same for themselves. In our opinion, the entirety of Just To See Me Fall has acted as a piece of art to lean in, mainly in the sense that so many of these songs are lyric-forward tracks breaking down the personal experience of Ari Raine.
Now it should probably go without saying, but the thing that ties this album together and gives it that consistency has to be Ari’s voice. You can feel such emotional suspense through the cadence in her voice, especially from song to song. We love the production effects and other soundscapes that were used, but even some of the more stripped back feeling songs are that much more powerful due to this fact. Considering this is her debut effort, we’re certainly looking forward to a follow up, hopefully coming sooner rather than later!
