Amelia Wray reaches new highs on her debut single, "Moved On"

Branching out from her already successful career in acting, Amelia Wray has presented the world with her stunning debut single, “Moved On”. We are loving it! Please read on for our full review of the track, as well as a background on this emerging artist.

Best known for playing Sophia on Disney’s Sydney to the Max, Amelia Wray is showing everyone what she’s really capable of on the music side of things. Having just released her debut single “Moved On”, we can confidently claim that she can do a little bit of everything in the world of entertainment. Jam packed with meaningful lyricism, catchy hooks, and of course her commanding vocals, we’re super excited for everyone to give this a listen.

Taking a look at the past, but also hopefully wishing for a bright and vibrant future, Amelia Wray’s “Moved On” is an imagery-filled song that’s sure to fill anyone up with a much needed dose of optimism. Keeping things fairly lighthearted on the instrumentation side of things, this song centers around her vocals that quickly do the heavy lifting. With influences like Olivia Rodrigo and Clairo, she’s taking what those artists have done best and infusing her own sense of style and creativity into a sound that we’ve fallen in love with.

Typically debut singles have a tough time “finding” themselves from start to finish, however the overall completeness that we felt after our initial listen was a rare one. At just a tad over three minutes in length, she’s set a base for herself going forward that we wouldn’t want to see too much change in for future singles. Of course we do like to see experimentation within artists, however we adored this sound so much we’d want to see a sort of evolution going down the road.

Regardless, she really did knock it out of the park with “Moved On” and it would be a true shame if you didn’t check out this song immediately! You can do so by clicking the links below to listen, follow along, and ultimately to stay tuned with everything else she’s got in the works. We hope you love it as much as we did.
