AINA exceeds all expectations on emotional single, "lightnin'"
Staying incredibly busy throughout 2022, AINA has treated us all to another sensational and richly produced track she’s titled “lightnin’”. Please keep reading for an in-depth look into the single, as well as a much needed background on this emerging artist.
At only 16 years old, AINA is a singer and songwriter currently representing the music scene in Los Angeles, California. On her third single titled “lightnin;”, the artist is continuing to raise the stakes and capitalize off of what worked best in the past. Having written the lyrics, created the artwork, and produced the song herself, it only adds more of an allure knowing that there’s this much talent flowing at such a young age. If you’ve yet to embark on her growing discography, we’re urging everyone out there to check this out as soon as possible.
Sine Aina was 10 years old, she’s been eloquently writing original songs that have ultimately led to the start of her hopefully fruitful career. As a multi-talented performer who also plays the piano, we feel like we’re right at the cusp of a breakthrough. While we watch the ride up, “lightnin’” is falling in one of those musical categories that downright evokes a ton of emotion and passion derived directly from her vocal delivery and the somewhat stripped back instrumentation that she’s included. For us, this felt like much more of a lyric heavy single than her other two, however, any pointless production effects or unnecessary novelties included would’ve otherwise taken away from the pure beauty that the song holds.
At just a tad under two and a half minutes in runtime, Aina has accomplished one of the main things we look for in music, and that’s leaving the listener wanting more. Before we knew it, the song had ended, and we immediately needed to go back for a subsequent listen. The way that “lightnin’” manages to give off such sincerity and originality is obviously a must from any artist in any medium nowadays, but so much of the song’s greatness also lies in her clever storytelling and the way that you’re painting a picture in your mind with the words that she’s singing. As this was our introduction to the artist, it exceeded all of our wildest expectations, and we truly can’t wait for more!
