Currently representing the New Zealand music scene, both Wulfie and LOVETA have brought their best to the table on their newest single, “Love Won’t Run Away”. With LOVETA providing her powerfully silky vocals and Wulfie handling the production side of things, they’ve quickly proved to be a match made in heaven on the musical front. Without a doubt, we are highly recommending you check out this track immediately.
While it felt like there were infinite things to love about this, there are definitely a handful that we need to talk about. For starters, the songwriting on this track and picture perfect lyrical moments had to be the standout. It could have been the way that LOVETA so delicately delivered the lines, however there was a certain beauty about it that held up for the entirety of the four minute track.
On the other hand, Wulfie has proved to us that his production skills are literally next level. We’ll make the recommendation right now to listen with a nice pair of headphones to fully emphasize the subtleties that you might be missing if you listen on your computer speakers. The way he was able to bring even more suspense and emotion to this song was groundbreaking in a sense. Either way, it piqued our interest to check out both artist’s discographies to see what they’re like on their own.
For our introduction to these two, it’s probably going to come to no surprise that we loved what we heard and simply can’t wait for more. As far as electropop love ballads go, this is the definition of exactly how to do one right. There were no dull moments, they infused so much love into it at all, and really came out with something special in the end.
