Essentially a collaboration between some of Hip Hop’s most talented underground artists, V of 40M has enlisted help from Hippie G, 40M Tye, and even brought on Arab Mxfia to help produce “PWR”. Together, all the artists truly came together to create something that not only feels fresh, but is paving the way for an even more impressive discography down the line. If this happens to be your introduction to this musician, it’s an ideal jumping off point to explore more.

Apart, all of these artists have been on an absolute tear in their respective careers, so we can see exactly why their dynamic would work so well on a single like this. Coming in at just a little bit under three minutes in runtime, immediately “PWR” proves that it’s jam packed with original beats, bursting with passion, and provides multiple story lines for the listeners to follow along with. One of our main complaints always with collaborations like these is that it feels like each individual doesn’t get their shining moment due to it feeling crowded. Well, we can confidently claim that even though this one is on the shorter side, you’re getting the best of everyone as they all show off their impeccable skills and flow from start to finish.

The underground Hip Hop scene nowadays is always picking and choosing who and what is hot, but legitimately it’s music like this that reinvents the wheel and tells it how it is. Although it really is V of 40M’s second single, you can audibly feel the jump from his debut “Way Back (Warning)”, another song we’d highly recommend you check out as well. It should also go without saying that the sharp and crisp production from Arab Mxfia certainly amplifies the greatness in this track, solidifying just how important it is for an artist to find someone that really gets them. We’re right at the end of the year, but we’re seriously looking forward to what 2023 has to offer!
