Truenemy returns for a full analysis on "Saturation Point" - Interview
After a brief hiatus, Truenemy has made a valiant return with an absolute shredder he’s titled “Saturation Point”. Luckily for us, we got the opportunity to have another full interview with the artist to discuss the latest track. Watch it in full below!
Coming hot right out of the gate, Paul Vuocolo’s project Truenemy has a killer new single called “Saturation Point” that wastes no time channeling all the energy to the listener. Dusting off another demo from the archives, this song is actually one of the first he ever wrote and performed back in the day with his old band, Sloth. Fast forward twenty or so years and we’re thrilled to have gotten this updated recording.
At just three and a half minutes in length, Paul pulled influence from the Rust In Peace era Megadeth lineup, however he’s still managed to incorporate a ton of ingenuity within its song structure and tone. Comparing it directly to “Midnight Train”, which is the last time we spoke with the artist on that release, we instantly felt that this song was more approachable for those who may not want to dip their toes into the metal genre. If you happen to be reading this and you’re not a fan, we confidently feel that this would serve as an ideal entry point.
Additionally, as much as Paul is the face of Truenemy, he also had some help with the music and lyrics from his nephew, Nick Slayton and on the single artwork from his brother Chris. “Saturation Point” is basically a family affair at this point, but there’s a ton more we discussed along the lines of what else is planned for this year. From the sound of it, and not to give too much else away, old fans and new can expect a slew of singles to hit the airwaves at some point in 2022. In the meantime though, please familiarize yourselves with “Saturation Point” by cranking it up as loud as it’ll go and hitting that play button.
