Tru Crime drops his beat-filled new single, "Gianna Dior"
Review by Austin Sher
Released this morning on July 17th, 2020, Tru Crime has just dropped his catchy new single, “Gianna Dior”. Read along with us as we give an in-depth review into the track, as well as a bit of background information around the artist himself.
Born and raised in Southern California, Tru Crime is an independent hip hop artist currently making a name for himself within the music industry. It all started around the age of 5 when Tru was abandoned by his dad and lived with his grandparents until returning to his mom after winning her battle with addiction. In high school, Tru began recording music with CEO of Stick Figged Music and former Death Row Records producer, Austin "Amazen" Martin. At first part of a hip hop group, Tru Crime bloomed into an accomplished solo artist and released his first project The Clouds LP in April of 2019 under the umbrella of West Life Entertainment. If you haven’t taken a list to The Clouds LP, we highly recommend because it’s great!
Tru Crime is currently a college student in Southern California, but obviously in his meantime, his energy and passions go directly into his music. Good news for the Tru Crime fans out there is that his sophomore project will feature production from multi platinum record producer Wyshmaster Beats and was engineered and mastered entirely by one of the most talented individuals in the industry, Producer Maine of CREW Studios and the LA Leakers.
Now that you’ve had a bit of information to get acquainted with the artist, it’s time to dig into the track! If this isn’t a catchy and addicting sounding song, then we honestly don’t know what is. After a bit of research on who exactly Gianna Dior was, we quickly found out she’s an acclaimed porn start working in the industry. For Tru Crime’s sake, we hope this gets her attention and her fans as well, because that would be a great jumping off point for some solid publicity.
The overall beat on the track is a perfect base for Tru Crime and Commerce to trade verses off of. Their flow is smooth as can be and within seconds, you’ll be bobbing your head to the song. The song truly feels like it was made in Southern California, it oozes laid back vibes on the beach and good times with friends. We really did like what we heard and we think you will too!
