Trisha & Thara collaborate on extra catchy single, "Too Late Again"
Expertly produced and catchier than ever, Trisha & Thara have made their entrance into 2022 with something beautiful titled “Too Late Again”. Read on for our positive review of the track, in addition to a background on this power duo.
Made up of sisters Trisha & Thara, they’re combining their separate talents to create an inspiring and empowering blend of straightforward indie pop. Hypnotic in its execution and anthemic in its prowess, the song is called “Too Late Again” and we legitimately haven’t been able to turn it off since it was sent our way. They’re following up two successful singles and we confidently think that they’ve got a third one on their hands with this stunner.
While the song certainly has its roots in indie pop, there are flavorful electronic elements that are stylistically scattered throughout “Too Late Again” that give it a much needed sense of flair and edge. While the production speaks for itself considering it’s incredibly bright and colorful from start to finish, we’ve obviously got to give it to both Trisha and Thara who set the stage with their inviting vocals. They act as a hidden instrument that sets the tone and intrigues the listener with glossy hooks and mesmerizing choruses. It’s been a while since a pop-centric song stole our attention so quickly, but after your listen, we think it’ll speak for itself.
On the background of the track, “It’s a song about people not following through with their previous commitments, being shady and flaky, written from a boy-girl perspective where the girl is wondering what’s going through the guy’s head and giving him multiple chances even with his ongoing excuses,” says Trisha. What makes the song so well rounded is that it’s not just a shiny present on the outside, rather once you pull off the layers, the songwriting and clever lyrics speak volumes once you connect all the dots.
