The Rhythm Bullies share rocking debut single, "Dysnomia"

Officially shared on January 29th, 2021, The Rhythm Bullies have entered the scene with their debut single, “Dysnomia”. Please read along with us as we share our complete thoughts on the track, as well as a background on the band as well.

Currently based out of Nashville, Tennessee, The Rhythm Bullies are a rock and roll band led by singer and guitarist Sebastian Mogan. Produced by Grammy-nominated engineer Bobby Holland, their debut “Dysnomia” has quickly proven to be a fantastic first output from the band. Taking the best parts of rock and infusing glimmers of synthesizers and a unique set of vocals, we’re loving what we’re hearing.

Front man Sebastian Mogan is leading the charge in the band even though he is vision and hearing impaired due to a genetic disorder called NF2. Thankfully though, he hasn’t let it stop him from creating and honing his musical talents into something truly unique in the rock space. While his past is surrounded by music, we’re beyond thrilled that he’s managed to keep up the great work and finally put something original for the world to hear.

At about four and a half minutes in total run time, “Dysnomia” shines in so many profound ways. Productionally speaking, there was definitely a fair amount of time spent on the mixing and coordination of this single. Featuring those signature synthesizers, a booming bass, and that vintage vocal pattern of Mogan, they’re checking all the boxes for what we’re looking for in our rock and roll.

After our first listen though, the immediate thought amongst the team was, when can we expect more!? With so many positives emanating from this debut single, our new hope is that The Rhythm Bullies have been keeping busy and that there’s more on the way hopefully in the near future. Whether it comes in the form of more isolated singles, or even a cohesive EP to really show off their talents, we’ll take anything we can get!

Additionally, as live music begins to get scheduled for the latter half of 2021, another thought was how perfect it would be to hear this be played in that live setting. A song like this with the massive outpouring of energy that it contains absolutely deserves to be played in front of a wanting crowd. Hopefully they’ll be able to make that happen in the coming months, we’ll be keeping tabs.

With all that being said though, we thoroughly enjoyed our listen of “Dysnomia” and think you will too! Do yourselves a huge favor and hop on The Rhythm Bullies train before it takes off. Enjoy!
