Tara Love bares it all on meaningful EP, "Decisive Moments"

Bringing together her life long love for music and infusing all the soul in the world to Decisive Moments, Tara Love has proved to us she’s 100% the real deal. Having navigated choirs from church to school, she’s brought those positive vibes on a reflecting lyrics that gave the listener a look right into her life. Music lovers across the spectrum are surely going to enjoy this record.
On this record specifically, Tara is painting the picture of different situations that women have to go through in relationships and encounters. Through five songs, spanning right around 14 minutes, she doesn’t skip a beat or waste a precious moment not communicating this important message. Luckily for all the listeners, she’s also expertly arranged the composition to span infinite amounts of genres. Mainly R&B, there’s also a ton of soul influences that show themselves openly.
What makes this album so well rounded is the fact that there’s so much to love. As compositionally and instrumentally striking as it is from start to finish, you have to give all the credit in the world to the exceptional songwriting that brings life to the words. Her conviction in the delivery is another standout of course, because without her vocals and the way she explains, the words would almost mean nothing.
While every song seemed like a standout, we were partial to the opener “Dismissive” and “Different”. You should definitely be checking out the full record of course, but there was something a little extra special about these two that held a lot of weight in certain moments.
