Souto turns it up on his sax-filled new single, "Better Days"

Perfect for the end of summer, Souto has delivered his latest single, “Better Days” featuring Gerson Laude. Do yourselves a favor and read along with us as we break down our thoughts on the track, in addition a bit of background on the artist.
Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, now based in New Jersey, Souto began producing in December of 2018. His first official release came in March 2019 and after being contacted by Billboard reporter and DJ Shawn (Spawn) Foley, he began to DJ in June 2019.
His newest release, “Better Days features the incredibly talented saxophonist, Gerson Laude. In addition to the beautiful soundscapes that were released on this track, the saxophone truly brings it up a few notches in originality. The saxophone, in our opinion, is such an underutilized instrument that when used correctly, can turn any song into something a bit more memorable. In this case, Gerson truly complimented the tropical deep house vibes that Souto brought to the table.
This song to us had an overall feel of having a good time. It’s as if this song was built to be listened to with friends, at a party, or while driving carelessly. It’s such a beautifully crafted track that it’s begging for an entire album of tunes just like this. It’s almost the end of summer, and “Better Days” couldn’t have come at a better time.
If it’s hot weather by you or you’re just relaxing by a pool somewhere, this is the type of music you need to have one. Souto has proved yet again that his production skills are top notch and we’re certainly excited to see what else he puts out in 2020. You can bet we’ll be keeping a close eye on his future releases.
