Soundhoose give insight on their upcoming debut album - Interview
Fresh off the release of their latest single “Runner”, and with so much more on the way, we got the special opportunity to sit and speak with Soundhoose! Please check out our full interview below.
Leading up to a full length album titled Craniotomy coming out very soon, Soundhoose have built the hype properly in their latest single releases. As “Runner” has just the airwaves, we got the chance to speak with Brandon Smith and Paul Burns to properly break down the creation of the single, what’s on the way, where they’re playing in the near future, and so many other fun topics. While the priority here is to listen, we’ve got to urge everyone out there to give their music a proper listen as well.
Trying their hardest and succeeding at experimenting well within the rock genre and beyond, “Runner” certainly features elements throughout the spectrum of music. You’ll find glimmers of pop punk, alternative, touches of synthesizers, and so much more. No matter where you fall or what your preferences are, we can virtually guarantee that you’ll find something within their discography that speaks to you. Seriously, that’s sort of their goal as its intended to bring people together from all backgrounds and preferences. We spoke about it way more in-depth during our discussion, but the music of Soundhoose is all about inclusion.
With a show coming up this week at The Mint in Los Angeles and more down the line at various venues around Los Angeles, their music is fine tuned to be experienced in a live setting. Now of course we don’t want to spoil too much about their live show, but you may just be treated to some covers of some notable rock bands of the early to mid 2000’s. It’s a show you’re not going to want to miss if you’re in Southern California, but ultimately the goal for the band is to branch out and hit the road extensively by year’s end.
Wrapping it up though, “Runner” is a certified hit in our minds, but don’t start and stop there. We’ve included all the important links below in order to listen, follow along, and of course to stay tuned for everything else Soundhoose has up their sleeves. Don’t miss out!
