Silvre previews anthemic track "Ready Set Go" off upcoming EP
Delivering a huge dose of high energy, Silvre is back with another incredibly memorable single, “Ready Set Go”. Please keep reading for our full and in-depth review of the track, as well as a background on the project as well.
In the run up to her debut EP set for release later this year, the third single “Ready Set Go” from Silvre may just be their best output yet. Anthemic in its feeling and powerful to its core, we couldn’t help but instantly fall in love with every facet of the track. While we’re not surprised at all that the first two songs have garnered acclaim and success, we confidently feel that this is the one that’s going to move the artist up the charts.
Written, produced, and recorded at Charthouse Studios in Portsmouth, along with Alix Robson and Cameron Soper, we can also expect a music video to accompany the track any day now. With such inauthenticity that comes from social media these days, “Ready Set Go” covers the topic of “realising your strengths and ultimately about how we are stronger when we stand together”.
Somehow putting a label on the genre for this track feels like an impossible task. While it is certainly under the umbrella of pop music, there was a certain stadium rock feel to it as well. That may just be because we quickly envisioned ourselves witnessing it in a large live setting due to its power, however there really are a lot of different facets of sound being covered here. From start to finish, there isn’t a moment that isn’t completely flooded with empowerment and passion.
Without a doubt though, this is 100% what we would classify as “feel good” music, mainly for the reason that a slew of positive emotions washed over us as soon as we finished listening. Taking into account the three singles that have come from SIlvre so far, there isn’t a bad seed in the bunch, and it’s got us more excited than ever for that EP to drop. When that may be, we’re not sure, but we’ll obviously keep you updated once the fateful day arrives.
