Sean Listro gets expressive on all new single, "Feel Your Touch"

Shared with the world on November 27th, 2020, Sean Listro has debuted a soulful new single titled, “Feel Your Touch”, that we have quickly fallen in love with. Please read along with us for our thoughts on the track, as well as a look at the artist’s career thus far.
Currently based out of Toronto, Sean Listro is a solo alternative rock artist who is using his multifaceted abilities to draw the listener in. Listro quickly takes the audience through a whirlwind of soundscapes with his unique sound and atmosphere that he’s worked so hard to create.. Though he is relatively new to the scene, Listro commands his craft like an artist produced to churn out stadium anthems.
Whether it’s been a while, or not, his newest track “Feel Your Touch” has the appeal for anyone who’s had their heart broken in the past. According to the artist, “Feel Your Touch,” is a song about ‘intense infatuation’ where you confuse amazing chemistry for true love. Both people know they aren’t right for each other. Their internal values aren’t compatible, and their personalities and lifestyles differ too greatly, but their physical chemistry keeps them coming back until it becomes a dangerous roller coaster of emotions. They become each other's addiction.”
While this was our first foray into the music of Sean Listro, let it be known that we’re incredibly happy that his music has crossed our paths at such an early stage in his soon to be illustrious career. For fans of Radiohead, Nine Inch Nails, Muse, Hozier, and plenty more, this is certainly the music that’s going to be right up your alley. In fact, without even knowing the influences prior, there was an immediate connection in the vocal delivery a la Thom Yorke. The mystery and suspense created on one track lets us know that Sean Listro is absolutely the real deal.
Listening to music and analyzing it is one thing, but to be the creator of such a moving piece of art that makes you think and evaluate, that’s true craftsmanship. Sean’s ability to to create an intense emotion in light of his past experiences is absolutely commendable, but the injection of soul he delivers into each line is really what tops the bar.
Filled with climaxes a plenty in just 4 short minutes, this is a track that won’t easily be forgotten. In order to get the full feeling, we had to listen many times just to make sure we didn’t miss any of the small details; we implore you to do the same. Even if you’re not in the mood to be reflective within your music, let Sean be your guiding light in these tough times. His distinctive voice is incredible, but even just the sweeping instrumentation would be nice to listen to on its own.
We truly can’t name a negative here. It’s got us incredibly excited to see what else will come from this artist (hopefully) sooner rather than later. No rush to the artist, but we need more!
