Featuring a serious wall of sound that includes screaming guitars, bombastic drumming, and aggressive yet soulful vocals, SCREENS tease title track "Lie Lie Lie" off upcoming 2nd LP are quickly proving to be the real deal. This Israeli-Mediterranean post punk trio show their inspirations within their music, but ultimately are taking that and formulating their own sound that’s sure to appeal to all. With such emphatic moments in all of the music, you’re virtually guaranteed to find something that you enjoy on “Lie Lie Lie”.

For the band, this is their version of a protest song, mainly through its inspiration due to the terrible political period in Israel and its daily demonstrations. It represents a “morally deteriorating culture”, and honestly the song’s overall vibe does complete justice to the tough times that all are living in at the moment. You can truly feel almost a catharsis-like release from each member during their moments to shine on the song and we’d like to think this is their attempt to rid themselves of the stress.

What we can confidently say here is not only the song primed for a listen with the volume cranked way up, but it legitimately has us ecstatic for the record to come as well. Bands like this that are reshaping the genre and adding their own flair to things deserve the attention they’re about to get.
