Starting on her musical journey at the young age of 7, she’s been quite active in the scene while performing at multiple music festivals, opening for artists like The Bellamy Brothers, and countless more accomplishments.

Since making the move to Nashville back in 2018, Sarah’s journey has only continued to get better. Having performed with The Song Suffragettes and appearing as the musical guest on Today in Nashville, it’s truly no surprise in the slightest that the sky's the limit for her successes in music.

Specifically on “I Could Use A Bird”, we’re confident that this might just be Sarah’s finest piece of beauty she’s put out into the world yet. Our only complaint throughout the entirety of the listen is that it was just too short! It comes in at about two and a half minutes and before you know it, it’s over. We suppose that means that it might just deserve multiple and endless streams to keep the joy flowing in our lives.

It should go without saying that the real star of the show are Sarah’s vocals. Right from the get go, the song starts off on a high note as the artist’s delicate yet commanding voice enters the mix. With a soft and subtle country music backing, we couldn’t help but envision a young Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, or LeAnn Rimes serenading us. We did quickly realize that it was none of them and actually Sarah Morey, this up and coming star that we can’t get enough of.

Throughout the full listen though, the song doubles as a heartfelt message to the listener and also a highly complex piece of music that more than likely took a ton of time to hone in and get perfect. We know how much hard work went into something like this, which is why we can’t help but recommend a close listen to “I Could Use A Bird”. As passive country lovers for the most part, Sarah has invigorated our love for an often same sounding genre. Not to knock country in the slightest, but it’s songs like these that really help to praise the fact that not everything has to be as stereotypical as most make it out to be. This is about as original as it gets, and for that, we’ll keep on listening.
