Sadie Cannon crafts first single of 2020 on her newest, "Take Me Home"

Freshly released this past week on November 20th, 2020, Sadie Cannon has delivered yet another fantastic single on “Take Me Home”. Do yourselves a favor and read along with us as we share our full thoughts, as well as a bio on the artist.
Growing up in a small town in Florida is where Sadie Cannon got her initial start. Though many identified her as a jock in high school, after graduation Cannon began her pursuit for the music industry. Ultimately, her pursuit led her to Nashville where she honed in on her songwriting skills. After Nashville was a strategic move to Los Angeles where she now releases pop, electronic, and R&B music with a chill yet bold presence. Sadie aims to find our biggest truth while uncovering the emotions that unify us all.
Fans of Kehlani and JoJo will immediately love Cannon’s vocal presence and production that is sure to bring all who listen to “Take Me Home” back to a place of nostalgia. Let it be known at the start, that we’re loving not only this newly released track from Sadie, but other gems in her discography such as “The Yacht Song” and “On One”. We feel that what the artist is bringing to the table in terms of pop and production are unique to the genre.
Considering that there’s a plethora of artists trying to stand out in such a crowded genre, we’re thankful that songs like these aim to break the mold of what’s right and wrong. As long as it’s true to the heart, keeps up a high production, and holds a fresh sound, then the artist will definitely be on the right track to bigger things.
Seeing that was our first dive into the music of Sadie Cannon, it certainly will not be our last. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this career trajectory as we honestly feel there’s so much more to be heard. Now we would never rush an artist into creating more, but we would like to see more new tracks along the lines of “Take Me Home” sooner rather than later. Capitalizing off the success of one track can only lead to bigger things on the follow up. Regardless, keep it up Sadie!
