For those who may be unaware, Alessia is a rising Italian-American R&B singer and songwriter with delivers a classy, edgy, and luxuriate sound accompanied by honest, relatable, and unique lyrics. One thing you should know about the artist is that she has no intention whatsoever of holding back when it comes to recounting the experiences she has had in hopes of helping others navigate through similar situations by teaching her listeners to love themselves first.
On “Real Thing” specifically, as incredible as the actual song is, the context in which it was created especially within the lyrics are where the song shines the brightest. There’s no holding back whatsoever in terms of the themes covered; Alessia’s story is an open book ready to be read by anyone who’s willing to give her a listen. In this case, we’re encouraging all readers to do so, and listen.
From the top tier quality production created to Alessia’s smooth vocal cadence, this song truly is a winner. Seeing as this her first release of 2020, our true hopes are that there’s more on the way. No rush to the artist ever, but songs like these deserve sequels and follow ups. As new fans, we want to hear more of what she can share with the world.
The heavy bass tones and the after effects were also a highlight for us. As catchy as the song was, it was also a delight to listen to on a nice sound system. Without a doubt, shivers were sent down our collective spines as we finished up our multiple listens. So what else is there to really say here, besides to take the time out of your busy schedules and grab a listen or two. Enjoy!
