Rein shares an intimate & optimistic single, "Everything Will Be Ok."
Staying busy as ever during his already prolific year in 2021, Rein is back once again with his newest single titled “Everything Will Be Ok.”. Do yourselves a favor and read along as we share our in-depth thoughts on this track, as well as a background on the artist.
Based out of Winnipeg, Canada, Rein is a Filipino-Canadian singer and songwriter who is effortlessly crafting up delicate and soulful songs. While he specializes in Pop, R&B, Jazz, and Contemporary music, this newest output on “Everything Will Be Ok.” is a beautiful representation of his acoustic side that expertly shows off his sweet and serene vocals.
While he’s been involved in music since the young age of 4, it wasn’t until Rein was 17 when he learned to play piano and started writing original music. Ever since, he’s been on the path of creation along the lines of songwriting and production. While his first single was officially released in July of 2020, he’s been incredibly busy since then and had a super consistent release schedule. Even better, he’s already planned his next single “City Lights” for August 12th. We can’t wait!
Focusing directly on this newest single though, we’ll admit that this was our first introduction to the artist, however it absolutely will not be our last listen. In just three and a half minutes, Rein has managed to turn us into mega fans on this extremely intimate and optimistic song. Kicking it off with a ukulele and keeping things fairly stripped back in instrumentation, the sole focus of it all relied heavily on his memorable vocals and message. We left our listening feeling hopeful, but also excited to be able to dig into everything he’s put out so far, as well as future releases too.
With the slight addition of choir-like vocals coming in the background, we’re not overhyping when we say this song is a masterpiece. It’s exactly the mood we needed to be put in and we sincerely thank Rein for sending it over, a really impressive song that we know for a fact you’ll all enjoy!
