Randol. unleashes another impeccable single with "Don't Leave Me"

Recently released, Randol. has unleashed another impeccable new single, titled “Don’t Leave Me”. We are loving it! Please read along with us as we break down our thoughts on the track, in addition to a background on the artist as well.
Finding an inspiration from artists such as Tash Sultana, Of Mice & Men, San Holo, & more, Randol. pulls his musical creations from his own personal experiences with life and mental health, Randol. is a 22 year old artist from Texas who is seeking to change the industry from the inside out. Featuring intricate guitar playing and melodic synth progressions, he aims to provide a voice for others through his music.
Randol. is definitely an artist who stands out from the rest. His passion for music and determination for success, alongside his beliefs, are unmatched. When questioned about what success looked like to him he said, "I think there's a lot of ways to determine someones success, but I think that your own success is determined by what's most important to you. I started making music because the artists I was listening to gave me hope and made me feel like I had a voice - that's success to me, to have someone hear my music and feel like that. As long as I've changed one persons life, then I'm successful.”
Specifically on “Don’t Leave Me”, the song initially stems from the artist’s battles between his ups and downs of life that he found himself while writing. This song is his embodiment of capturing exactly how the highs in life feel, and his cries towards them. According to Randol.,”While writing the song I also thought about all of the low points in life, and how I was so close to giving up, but I chose to keep fighting. It’s my way of looking back at myself in the past, seeing how low life was, and realizing how beautiful and uplifting everything around me has become. It’s my message to myself, and my message to others to keep fighting and keep pushing forward.”
Art becomes a lot more meaningful when an artist actively chooses to explain the thought process behind the music they’re putting out. Artists all across the world don’t always do such a thing, so we need to commend them when they do. On this track, we were thoroughly impressed based off our first listen, mainly because of the world that was created. The overall instrumentation was overly impressive, but also was jam packed with emotion and realness knowing where the artist was coming from when creating.
While this was our first deep dive into Randol.’s music, let it be known right now that it certainly will not be our last. Seeing as our impressions were so positive at first, we had no choice but to dig into the rest of his music, which of course, did not disappoint in the slightest. After your first listen, we highly recommend and suggest you take the time to dig in yourself, you won’t regret it.
We don’t have many complaints on the song, other than we wish it were longer! To be fully honest though, we’d never want to alter an artist’s finished work, so we’re just happy that it’s released and out in the world. With the new year on the horizon while writing this, we can only hope that an EP or full length album is on the way to follow this up, we’ll be updating and keeping a close eye on the trajectory of the artist. With such a promising discography already, he’s definitely worth checking out.
