Accompanied by a lovely music video (linked below), Rafaela has bared her soul on a vulnerable new single titled “Loved By You”. It certainly falls under the umbrella of what we’d consider to be a straightforward Pop ballad, however this artist has gone above and beyond in infusing so much more into the mix. With a cavalcade of instruments and an emphasis on its suspenseful nature, we’ve quickly fallen in love with both this song and everything else the artist has to offer.

On the background of how this was created, according to Rafaela it was actually a very natural occurrence. So she says, it all came to her as she was sipping coffee on a slow Saturday morning, reflecting on a classic tale of true love. Somewhere in between the greatness that is a powerful 80’s inspired ballad, mixed in with plenty of modern influences, truly it’s Rafaela’s vocal presence that makes this song stand out the most from its pack. Although her voice is certainly up front and center for the world to enjoy, she’s generously backed up by soulful vocals, memorable guitar riffs, and a climax towards the end where it perfectly comes together to finish it up. It’s not often we get emotional listening to music, but this is one of the rare times we’ve been moved by it all.

As we patiently wait for Christmas to roll around the corner, it’s music like this that will be at the top of our playlists. “Loved By You” is so lyrically rich, giving everyone the opportunity to reflect on their own lives and get into the holiday spirit, hopefully with a loved one you appreciate as well.
