Storming back with another wonderful record titled Bella, Quizboy is continuing to think outside of the box in his musical prowess. Please read on for our full review of the record, as well as a background on the artist.

Following up 2020’s Rest In Pain, Quizboy is channeling the aftermath of his struggles into another beauty he’s called Bella. Named after his dog that unfortunately passed away during quarantine, this album according to the artist has “subliminally set the tone for the songs that were written on Bella”. From start to finish, we sincerely enjoyed every moment and confidently think you will too.

Coming in at 7 total tracks and not featuring a single moment of filler, Quizboy has released a compilation of songs that are only of the highest quality. Each has the opportunity to create its own little world of sound and style, however the entirety of the record is filled with this imagery-filled lyricism that clearly paints a picture of his recent life experiences. There’s a certain darkness surrounding the record due to the complexities, but we hope that at the least it helped out the artist to cope with the difficulties.

Instrumentally inventive and top tier production are exactly what you’re going to experience here, as the album for us was more of a listening experience than your standard run through. Specific tracks like “Again” and “Invalid” were clear standouts, but honestly the cohesiveness of Bella is what will have us coming back for repeated listens. We couldn’t help but feel pumped up and energized after our listen due to the uptempo passages, but once you make the connections within those lyrics, it may just bring you back down.

However it makes you feel though, it will definitely give you the urge to explore the rest of his growing discography. This is an artist on the rise with lots of stories to tell and an extremely interesting way of conveying those messages. Without a doubt, we can’t wait for everyone to get their ears on this as soon as possible.
